Anchorage TMU will align the airport on the most operationally advantageous runway configuration for heavy arrival and/or departure periods.
Arrival runway assignment may be dynamically changed to balance runway or airspace demand.
A crossing altitude of 090 feet for jets at AMOTT may be utilized when landing RWY 7R/7L because of the short distance to the final approach course.
A crossing altitude of 080 feet for jets at TAGER may be utilized when RWY 14 is in use.
When gate balancing from AMOTT to TAGER and landing RWY 14, consider customers parking at the North Airpark first.
Gate balancing props from South/Southwest to NAPTO may be used to set a crossover landing to RWY 7L or RWY 25R.
When landing RWY 14/25R, some local users have agreed to a 20 knot crosswind component.
